Help build the operating team around IZZYAKOS.

IZZYAKOS LLC is a bootstrapped systems company developing BOAMAN, TRACEBridge, CHOPX, My Accra International Market and Pantryster. We are assembling a small founding execution team around engineering, operations, partnerships, product experience and finance/compliance.

Important: We are pre-seed. Compensation structure depends on role, legal classification, available cash and written agreement. Equity, if offered, is separate from wages and is never implied or guaranteed.

Founding execution team

Five roles we are building around the founder.

These are initially flexible engagements rather than five conventional full-time hires. The objective is to earn trust through real delivery and expand responsibility as funding and revenue permit.

Priority 1Engineering

Founding Product Engineer / Technical Delivery Lead

Own stable product delivery across repositories, frontend, backend, data, authentication, APIs, testing, security and deployment.

Core stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Next/Vite, Supabase/PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions, Vercel, APIs, RBAC and PWAs.

First 90 days: establish release discipline, close production blockers, document architecture, reduce founder dependence on routine code repair.

Engagement model

Start small. Define the relationship. Expand only with evidence.

Paid project / retainer

Preferred whenever the person is performing productive company work and cash is available. Scope, deliverables, rate and classification are documented before work begins.

Fractional specialist

Limited recurring hours for functions such as design, finance, grants or compliance where a full-time seat is premature.

Future equity participation

May be considered for sustained founding-level contribution through a separately approved equity plan or award, with vesting, securities compliance and tax/legal review. Equity is not a substitute for legally required wages.

No hidden promise. Joining an early-stage company involves uncertainty. We will state what is funded, what is not funded, what is merely possible, and what must be documented before anyone relies on it.
Selection process

Five stages before deeper access or responsibility.

Mission + availability

Discuss motivation, weekly capacity, location constraints, compensation needs and startup tolerance.

Evidence review

Review relevant repositories, work samples, plans, pipelines, financial models or references.

Defined work sample

Use a narrow, lawful, written evaluation or paid trial assignment appropriate to the role.

Structured interview

Assess execution, judgment, communication, documentation, security and respect for constraints.

30–60 day agreement

Set scope, access, confidentiality, IP, milestones, compensation, review date and termination terms before expanding.

Agreement framework

What every engagement should put in writing.

  • Role and relationship classification
  • Scope, deliverables and decision authority
  • Expected availability and communication cadence
  • Cash compensation, if any, and payment timing
  • Expense approval and reimbursement rules
  • Confidentiality and access-control obligations
  • IP and work-product ownership
  • Security, data and credential handling
  • Milestones and review gates
  • Termination and return-of-property terms
  • Separate equity language only if formally approved
  • No promise of future employment, funding, salary or equity unless written
